  2. Burns - Check temperature of bath water and formula
  3. Motor Vehicle - use only approved restrain systems, rear-facing in the back seat
  4. Drowning - never leave a newborn or infant alone in a bath
  5. Poisoning - Keep medicine out of reach
  6. Choking - Keep small toys away from infants
  7. Suffocation - always position on back for sleep; no pillows, stuffed toys, bumpers, blankets, or latex balloons in the crib
  8. Strangulation - Mattress must fit tight against the crib, slats should be no more than 6 cm apart.
