- suction w. saline drops

< 1 month: ampicillin + cefotax/gentimicin
> 1month: Vancomycin + cefotax/ceftriax
Nocturnal enuresis

Croup
- Inflammation of upper airway
- inspiratory stridor

- hoarseness
Severe:
Dexamethasone + Epinephrine
RSV Treatment
- common cause of bronchiolitis
- supportive treatment
- severe: inhaled ribavirin
RSV prophylaxis
-Synagis
Qmonthly, 15 mg/kg, IM, thigh muscle
Indication:
-premature infants
-Heart/lung conditions
Avoid in Pediatrics
- codeine
- tramadol
- promethazine
- ceftriaxone
Not Recommended in pediatrics
- Quinolones
- Tetracyclines
- Benzocaine
- OTC cough/cold (<6 yr)
