Continues as brachial artery
Branches: Superior thoracic artery, thoracoacromial artery, lateral thoracic artery, subscapular artery, anterior circumflex humeral artery, posterior circumflex humeral artery

Source: Axillary artery
Branches: Clavicular branch, Acromial branch, Deltoid branch, Pectoral Branch
Subscapular Artery
Source: Axillary artery
Branches: circumflex scapular artery, thoracodorsal artery
Triangular Space
Teres minor (top), teres major (bottom), long head of triceps (side) Contains circumflex scapular artery
Quadrangular Space
Teres minor (top), teres major (bottom), long head of triceps (side), humerus (side) Contains axillary nerve, posterior circumflex artery
Triangular interval
Teres major (top), long head of triceps (side), humerus (side) Contains profunda brachii artery, radial nerve
Triangle of Auscultation
Scapula (side), latissimus dorsi (bottom), trapezius (top)
Over 7th rib and 6-7 intercostal space
Good place to listen to posterior segment of lungs

Location: In triangular interval with radial nerve
Artery of trapezius
Transverse cervical branch of thyrocervical artery
Suprascapular Artery
Branch of thyrocervical trunk, branch of subclavian artery
Perfuses supraspinatus and infraspinatus
Innvervate pectoralis minor
Medial pectoral nerve (from medial cord of brachial plexus)
Posterior Cord of brachial plexus
From posterior branches of Superior trunk, Middle trunk, and Inferior Trunk
Branches into Upper subscapular nerve, Thoracodorsal nerve, Lower subscapular nerve
Continues into Axillary nerve and Radial nerve
Lateral Cord of brachial plexus
From anterior branches of Superior trunk and Middle trunk
Branches into Lateral pectoral nerve
Continues into Musculocutaneous nerve
Joins with Medial cord to form Median nerve
Medial Cord of brachial plexus
From anterior branch of Inferior trunk
Branches into Medial pectoral nerve
Joins with Lateral cord to form Median nerve
Continues as ulnar nerve
Dorsal scapular artery
Source = subclavian artery
Perfuses levator scapulae, rhomboid minor, rhomboid major
Rotator cuff muscles
Supraspinatus
Infraspinatus
Teres minor
Subscapularis
Pectoralis major
Perfused thoracoacromial trunk (from axillary artery), pectoral branch
Innervated by medial pectoral nerve (from medial cord) and lateral pectoral nerve (from lateral cord)
Pectoralis minor
Perfused by thoracroacromial trunk (from axillary artery), pectoral branch
Innervated by medial pectoral nerve (from medial cord)
Serratus anterior
Perfused by lateral thoracic artery (from axillary artery)
Innervated by long thoracic artery (C5, C6, C7 roots of brachial plexus)
Trapezius
Perfused by transverse branch of thyrocervical artery (from subclavian artery)
Innervated by spinal accessory nerve (CN11)
Latissimus Dorsi
Perfused by thoracodorsal artery (branch of subscapular artery from axillary artery)
Innervated by thoracodorsal nerve (posterior cord between Upper subscapularis and Lower subscapularis nerve)
Levator Scapulae
Perfused by dorsal scapular artery (from Subclavian artery)
Innervated dorsal scapular nerve (branch of C5 root)
Rhomboids Major and Minor
Perfused by dorsal scapular artery
Innervated by dorsal scapular nerve
Deltoid
Perfused by thoracoacromial trunk, deltoid branch
Innervated by axillary nerve
Teres major
Perfused by thoracodorsal artery, circumflex scapular artery, which are both branches of subscapular atery
Innervated by lower subscapular nerve (branch of posterior cord)
Supraspinatus
Perfused by suprascapular artery (from thyrocervical trunk of subclavian artery)
Innervated by suprascapular nerve (C5 root)
Infraspintatus
Perfused by suprascapular artery
Innervated by suprascapular nerve
Teres minor
Perfused by circumflex scapular artery and posterior circumflex humeral artery
Innervated by axillary nerve
Subscapularis
