Violence
Using actions that can threaten or harm others
Bullying
The deliberate intimidation of a person through words or physical actions
Forgiveness
Showing grace and mercy; pardoning someone for what they have done wrong
Reconciliation
The restoring of harmony after relationships have broken down and its a sacrament in the Catholic Church
Justice
Bringing about what is right and fair, according to the law, or making up for a wrong that has been committed
Righteous anger
Anger against an injustice, some Christians use the term to describe anger that they believe acceptable
Just war theory
A set of criteria that a war needs to meet before it can be justified
Nuclear war
War that makes use of nuclear weapons: weapons that work by creating a nuclear reaction in order to devastate huge areas and kill large numbers of people
Weapons of mass destruction
Weapons that can kill large numbers of people and cause great damage
Chemical weapons
Weapons that use chemicals to harm humans and destroy the natural environment
Biological weapons
Weapons that use living organisms to cause disease or death
Holy war
Fighting for a religious cause or God, probably controlled by a religious leader
Pacifism
The belief of people who refuse to take part in war and any other form of violence
Terrorism
The unlawful use of violence, usually against innocent civilians, to achieve a political goal
Torture
The use of severe physical or psychological pain to punish someone or force them to do or say something
