What happens during evaporation?

A

The sun heats up water in rivers, lakes, oceans and trees and turns it into water vapour

What happens during condensation?

A

The water vapour rises into the air and cools to form a cloud. Its then blown by wind towards land.

What happens during precipitation?

A

When there is too much condensed water in the air and it cannot hold it the clouds get heavy and the water falls back to earth in the form of hail, rain, dew, sleet or snow

What happens during run-off?

A

When the water falls down to earth it may fall into oceans, lakes, rivers or land. It will either be soaked in by soil or it may run-off into lakes, rivers or oceans and start the cycle again.
