a joint is a point where two bones meet to provide a framework that permits movement

Bones are attached to each other by tissue called ligaments

These joints are fixed immovieiable joints where bones are not flexible
. The human skull is a fibrous joint
Cartilaginous Joints ( semi moveable)
These joints are partially moveable joints
.the spinal column and the ribcage

these are the most common joints within the body these joints help us perform a wide range of motion role running walking and typing etc…
What are ball and socket joints
bone is hooked into the hallow space of another bone. This type of joint helps in rotarty movement ( shoulder joints)
What are pivotal Joints ?
they are joints that can’t fully rotate these joints aid in side ways and back and forth movement
Hinge joints?
these joints are like door hinges
saddle joints
the thumb is the only joint in the human body with a saddle joint
condyloid joints
are the joints with two axes which permit up and down and side to side motions these joints can be found at the base of the index fingers

a Band of strong fibrous tissue
synovial joint consistency?
A slippery fluid the consistency of egg whites.
