Softwood definition
The wood from a confier (such as pin, fir or spruce) as distinguished from that of broad leaved trees.
Pegboard
a board with holes already punched in meaning they are ready for putting hooks in or attaching shelves.
Mouldings
Come in set sizes and are used for things like picture rails / door panels.
Paint
A coloured substance which is spread over a surface and dries to leave a thin decorative or protective coating
Varnish
Resins dissolved in a liquid for applying on wood, metal or other materials to form a hard, clear, shiny surface when dry
Laminate
Overlay (a flat surface) with a layer of plastic or some other protective material.
