Examples of PCR application

A
  • Presence or absence of diseases such as TB
  • Allow Differentiating between closely related organisms for example “swine flu vs human influenza” both H1N1 subtypes
  • PCR may also allow us to determine how much is there for example measuring bacterial or viral load
