ankle anterior drawer test
positive: pain, no springing, excessive laxity
negative: anterior talofibular L. pathology (lateral ankle sprain)
talar tilt test
positive: laxity, increased ROM, pain
indication: calcaneofibular ligament pathology (major), ATF pathology (minor) (lateral ankle sprain)
eversion test
positive: laxity, increased ROM
indication: deltoid L. pathology (medial ankle sprain)
squeeze test
positive: pain at syndesmosis
indication: syndesmosis pathology (high ankle sprain)
Thompson test
positive: absence of plantar flexion
indication: Achilles T. rupture
