Volar

Flextion
Motion that decreases the angle of the joint (Bending the elbow)
Extension
Motion that increases the angle of the joint (straightening the elbow)
Abduction
Motion away from the midline (lifting the arms up, from side)
Adduction
Motion towards the midline (Bringing the arms down)
Supination
Rotating the palm upward (Holding food tray)
Pronation
Rotating the palm downward (placing hands flat on a table)
Inversion
Rotating inward (twisting the ankle inward)
Eversion
Rotating outward (twisting the ankle outward)
Internal Rotation
Turning inward towards the body (standing with toes touching, heels apart)
External Rotation
Turning outward from the body (standing with heels touching, toes apart)
