Sending phony emails, messages, or links in hopes of obtaining personal
information/money
Phishing Scam Features
“Too good to be true,” sense of urgency, typos, asking to verify account
information, unknown sender, suspicious link, asking for personal information,
generic greeting
Clickjacking
Clicking on a seemingly harmless link, but being redirected to an infected
website, a phishing site, or online scam
Online predator
Internet users (usually adults acting as kids) who are dangerous to a child
online and mask their identity
Cyberbullying
The use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending
messages of an intimidating or threatening nature. This can be through social
media, texting, and much more.
Bully
Someone who repetitively abuses, harasses, or intimidates another person
Victim
The person who faces the abuse, harassment, or intimidation of a bully
Empathy
To imagine the feelings that someone else is experiencing
Upstander
Someone who witnesses bullying and does something to help
Bystander
Someone who sees bullying but does nothing to help
