Qi Xu- questions you might ask
- Do you have lots of energy or do you generally feel tired? (Tiredness & both transforming/transporting)
- Do you have a normal diet or is it poor, erratic or …?
(Gu qi) - Are your bowel movements loose and frequent or well formed and once/twice a day? Do you ever have undigested food in your stools? (Transforming)
- Do any of your symptoms get worse as you go through the day and/or expend energy? (Enough qi/energy for the day)
- Do you ever have the sensation of things dropping down or prolapses? (Raising)
- When you feel tired, is it a heaviness that inclines you to sit, slump and not want to move? (Raising & Damp)
- Do you feel the cold a lot, hug radiators, wear thermal underwear in the summer, etc.? (Warming)
- Do you have any bleeding which is dribbling as opposed to gushing? (Holding in)
