A

B - Targeted - Deploy resources in precise locations, during precise times and using strategic methods.

3 Styles of Policing

A
  1. Watchman Method - Maintain Order rather than regulate behavior
  2. The legalistic Style - Strict Adherence to the law is emphasized. Follow letter of the law.
  3. Service Style - Takes all calls seriously and usually doesn’t impose formal sanctions. Officer will intervene but does so in an informal manner.
