  • Cause by Onchocerca volvulus
  • Transmitted by Simulium black fly
  • Only in humans living in tropical African belt and South America

-Microfilariae in conjunctivae in anterior/posterior eye
-conjunctivis, sclerosing keratitis, uveitis, optic atrophy, glaucoma, blindness
