A

o Developing away from typical normal developmental pattern; shift because of some kind of insult to cervical cells; this line of cells is more resistant to insult (chronic yeast infection – clear up and shift back over)

Q

Neoplasm-Benign

A

group of abnormally proliferating cells but very cohesive in that surrounding this abnormal group is a perfectly normal group of proliferating cells; encapsulating / enclosed by normal tissue; nudge out of the way or stop; not invade; uterine fibroid – enclosed by completely normal tissue

Q

Neoplasm-Malignant

A

wicked”; having an evil influence; doesn’t nudge other cells out of the way, it invades other cells; cells have ability to break away and float out into other cells then we have a real problem
