Q

When creating a culture of counseling and guiding in the church, we said it was important to establish a Biblical counseling philosophy and also to unify the leadership on your counseling. Explain why this is so important.

A

As each leader works to provide pastoral counseling, an understanding of the pastoral flow will assist in meeting a person’s needs in a prompt and efficient manner.
It is important to have a Biblical philosophy and unity among the leadership concerning counseling so that you can establish guidelines for counseling and guiding, develop a pastoral counseling strategy, and train people to counsel.
