How do you form the passé composé?
A
Avoir or etre in the present tense plus the participe passé.
Avoir- j'ai tu as il a nous avons vous avez ils ont
Etre- je suis tu es il est nous sommes vous êtes ils sont
Par exemple- J’ai acheté, je suis allée

How do you form the imparfait?
A
Nous form of present tense and then add the endings: Je= -ais Tu= -ais Il/elle= ait nous= ions vous= -iez ils/elles= -aient
Je finissais, il était

How do you form the plus-que-parfait?
A
Avoir or etre in the imparfait + participe passé.
Par exemple-
J’etais déjà sorti quand tu as téléphoné.
Nous avions déjà mangé quand tu as téléphoné
