When do we use past simple tense? (kiedy uzywamy)
When talking about an action completed in the past.
How do we form past simple tense (normal), regularly and irregularly?
Regular: subject + infinitive + “ed”,
irregular: subject + irregular simple past form,
ex. I made, they worked.
How do we form past simple tense (negative)?
Subject + “did not/ didn’t” + infinitive,
ex. You did not take, we didn’t buy.
How do we form past simple tense (question)?
“did/ didn’t” + subject + infinitive,
ex. Didn’t she play? Did it explode?
