Passover Flashcards
What day and month do we take a lamb
Exodus 12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
How should your lamb be
Exodus 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
Roast with fire and it with bitter herbs and unleavened bread
Exodus 12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Burn left overs!
Exodus 12:10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
Keep as a memorial!
Exodus 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
On the 14 day of the first month at even is what?
Leviticus 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD’S passover.
Get the spiritual leaven out your spirit
1 Corinthians 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
The Passover and unleavened bread is the same
Luke 22:1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
Passover & Feast of sweet bread same time ?
1 Esdras 1:19 So the children of Israel which were present held the passover at that time, and the feast of sweet bread seven days.
