What is retractile testis?
A
A testis that appears in warm conditions or which can be brought down on clinical examination and does not immediately retract is usually a retractile testis

A
- tender mass in right groin
- hip extension exacerbates pain
- fever
can be primary: often immunosuppressed patients
can be secondary: e.g. as in Crohn’s
