Express actions or states of being that ended in the past, one off deals, one shot deals. Most verbs use “avere”.
How to form the passato prossimo with “avere”
Present tense of the “avere” plus the past participle; avere “ho, hai, ha, abbiamo, avete, hanno”
Ending for “are”
Drop the “are” and add “ato”
Ending for “ere”
Drop the “ere” and add “uto”
Ending for “ire”
Drop the “ire” and add “ito”
