What is a noun? What are the types of nouns?
A noun is a word that used to describe a person, place, or thing. There are 8 types of nouns: common noun, proper noun, collective noun, compound noun, count noun, mass noun, concrete noun, & abstract noun.
What is a verb? What are the types of verbs?
A verb is a word to express an action or state of being. There are 3 types of verbs, among others are action verbs, modal verbs, & auxiliary verbs. An action verb can be distinguished into a transitive verb and an intransitive verb.
What is an adjective?
An adjective is a word to give more information to a noun or pronoun.
What is a pronoun?
A pronoun is a word that is used instead of a noun or noun phrase. Pronouns refer to either a noun that has been mentioned or not.
What is a determiner?
A determiner is a word placed in front of a noun to specify a quantity of a noun or to clarify what the noun refers to.
What is a preposition?
A preposition is a word used to link nouns, pronouns, or phrases to other words within a sentence, usually placed before nouns, or pronouns. They act to connect the people, objects, time, and locations of a sentence.

A conjunction is a word that connects or links phrases, sentences, clauses, or words together.
What is an interjection?
An interjection is a word added to a sentence to convey an emotion or a sentiment such as surprise, disgust, joy, excitement, or enthusiasm.
