Collective noun- A noun that describes a group
Eg. swarm, herd, pride, pod
Abstract noun
Abstract noun- A noun that you cannot see, hear, touch, smell or taste
Eg. hurt, sorrow, magic
Singular noun
Singular noun- A noun that names one person, place or thing
Eg. apple, cat, pond
Plural noun
Plural noun- A noun that nomes more than one person place or thing
Eg. dogs, pens, peaches
Pronoun
Pronoun- A word used in place of a name or thing
Eg. he, they, she

Verbs- An action or doing word
Eg. running, jump, swim

Auxiliary verbs- A helping verb that helps the main verb
