A complete sentence contains two parts: a subject and a predicate. The subject is what (or whom) the sentence is about, while the predicate tells something about the subject.

A verb is a doing or action word.

An adjective is a word or words used to describe nouns or pronouns. They add interest or meaning to sentences giving more information.

Descriptive,proper adjectives, adjectives of quantity/number,adjectives of order/position,adjectives of comparison and (adjectival phrases).

Describes the nouns. These are the most commonly used.
