What does a noun do?

What does a pronoun do?
A pronoun replaces a noun; a pronoun refer to the subject of the sentence.
What are some examples of pronouns?

Yesterday, Alicia could have gone to the movies, but SHE came to late to watch IT.
What does a verb do?
A verb is used to communicate an action, event or state of being.
Give some examples of verbs.
Run, sit, walk, watch.

These days, I always WAKE up so late, that I have to RUN to catch the bus.
What are verb tenses?
Verb tenses express a time frame.
Give some examples of verb tenses.
Ride, rode, will ride, walked, walk, will walk, walking.
What is an adverb?
An adverb is something used to provide more information about a verb, an adjective, or another, adverb within a sentence.
What questions to adverbs answer?
Adverbs answer questions about, how, when, where or how much.
