Common Nouns
Common nouns are never capitalized. They nam something general, not specific
Proper Nouns
Proper nouns are always capitilized. They name something specific–like the name of place, a brand, or a person
Abstract Noun
A noun you can’t see, hear, taste, smell, or touch (likely an idea)
Concrete Nouns
Concrete nouns describe things that can be seen of touched
Action Verb
Tell what the subject is doing
Linking Verbs
Connect or link a subject to a noun or adjective.
Helping Verbs
Help the main verb express tense and voice.
