capitalized and specific= Walmart, Nike, Ms. Dulaney
abstract nouns
a noun that you cant see touch taste hear or smell= hunger, love, fear
concrete nouns
a noun that you can touch and see, etc= food dog desk.
compound nouns
made up of more than one word= grocery store, teacher desk, shopping cart
