Abstract Nouns
A noun that you can’t see, touch, taste, hear, or smell = love, hunger, fear
Concrete Nouns
A noun that you can touch and see = food, dog, desk
Compound Nouns
Made up of more than one word = Grocery store, teacher desk, shopping cart
