A Conjunction is a word or words, that connect words, phrases or causes.
Preposition
A Preposition tells time, place or position.
Interjection
An interjection expresses strong emotion.
Common Noun
They are never capitalized and are never specific.
Proper Nouns
They name something specific - like the name of a place, brand or person.
Abstract nouns
A noun you can’t see hear, smell, or taste, or touch.
Concrete Nouns
Concrete nouns describe things that can be seen or touched.
Action Verb
Tell what the subject is doing
Linking Verbs (to be)
connect a subject to a noun or an adjective.
Helping Verbs
help the main verb express tense and voice.
