shows strong emotion. wow, hey, and yeah
common nouns
not capitalized and not specific. Ball, desk, and store.
proper noun
capitalized and specific Ms. Dulaney, Walmart, and Nike.
Abstract Nouns
A noun that you can’t see, touch, taste, hear, or smell= love, hunger, and fear.
concrete nouns
A noun that you can touch and see= food, dog, and desk.
compound nouns
made up of more than one word= grocery store, teacher desk, and shopping cart.
