Common noun
Common nouns are never capitalized. They name something general, not specific.
Ex kid, park, chair, love.
Proper nouns
Proper nouns are always capitalized. They name something specific.– like the name of a place, a brand, or a person.
Ex Statue of Liberty, Harry Potter, Doritos.
Abstract nouns
A noun you cannot see hear, smell, taste, or touch. (Five senses.)
Ex love, hunger, fear.
Concrete nouns
A noun that describes things that can be seen or touched.
Ex food, dog, desk.
