Common nouns are never capitalized they name something general not specific.
Proper Noun
Proper nouns are always capitalized they name something specific.
Abstract Noun
A noun that you cannot hear, smell, taste, or touch.
Concrete Nouns
Concrete nouns describe thing you can see or touch.
