Common nous are never capitalized. They name something general, not specific. (cat)
Proper Nouns
Proper nouns are always capitalized. They name something specific. (Like the name of a place, a brand, or a person.)
Abstract Nouns
A noun you can not see, hear, smell, or touch. (Fear)
Concrete Nouns
Concrete nouns describe things tat can be seen or touched.
