CHAPTER 5
This is the preliminary part of the
problem, leading to its main part
and objectives. It may include
legal or other bases related to or
for conducting the study.
Introduction
(Why conduct the study?)
Identify who will benefit from the
research and how they will be
benefitted. This should match
with the recommendations.
Rationale of the Study
It is a structure that supports a
research study’s theory. It is a
collection of concepts, definitions,
and existing theory that helps
researchers understand a problem
or phenomenon.
Theoretical Framework
It aims to highlight the pressing
issue the researchers intends to
address.
Statement of the Problem
This defines technical terms
based on how they are used in
the study, specifically in the title.
The terminologies that are
important to understand the
paper.
Definition of Terms
the researcher can find out how other
researchers have formulated
fruitful lines inquiry within a
particular field of interest.
Review of Related Literature
The specific procedures or
techniques used to identify,
select, process, analyze
information.
Research Methodology
This is categorized according to
the procedure the researcher
collects and analyzes data and his
research purpose.
Research Design
The two basic research designs based
on the way information is collected,
synthesized and analyzed
quantitative and qualitative research
This explain how the respondents
are selected and the place where
they are taken. If the population
is too large, then the sampling
may be employed.
Respondents
These include psychological tests
and inventories, questionnaires,
opinionnaires, checklists, rating
scales, interviews, and document
analysis.
Research Instrument
It narrates the process undergone
by the study that eventually leads
to the findings.
Data Gathering Procedure
It presents all the data gathered
using the questionnaire by
tabulating all the gathered
information.
Presentation
The process of examining and
interpreting data, information, or
findings to make sense of
research and gain insights.
Analysis
The process of assigning meaning
of data and drawing conclusions
about its significance and
applications.
Interpretation of Data
It summarizes the interpretation
of data given in Chapter 4. These
should directly answer your
statement of the problem.
Summary of Findings
The results should be arranged in
a logical order based on the
statement of the problem.
Conclusions
It gives a detailed description of
the suggestions for future action
based on the significance of the
findings.
Recommendations
a section that contains
supplementary information that is not essential
to the main body of the paper.
Appendices
a comprehensive document that outlines your academic and professional history. It’s more detailed than a resume and is commonly used for academic positions, research roles, and international job applications.
