He large size of the empire made it impossible to control

What are the reasons in military causes?
Because the borders were to large and they didn’t have enough men in their army to protect them

What are the reasons in economic causes
Running the empire need led a lot of money
After 325AD Constantine moved the capital to Constantinople
After this the eastern half of the empire became very wealthy while the western half declined
Because of the barbarian invasion trade routes were cut off
No trade- no goods - no money - no food - starvation - theft- riots - revelation - civil war - disease - plagues - large amount of unemployment
What are the reasons in social causes??
The Romans lost pride, spirit, and loyalty
People start to dessert the army so the army becomes weaker
Christianity is rising in the empire and it weakens the killer instinct of the roman legion
The roman people wanted equality and freedom
The lower class people revolted against the emperor and joined forces with the barbarians
