Types of Verbs
A
Transitive Verbs: These are action verbs that take objects
Monotransitive Verbs: Those that take a single object usually a direct object.
Intransitive Verbs : do not take objects
Linking Verbs : Join a noun or pronoun
Lexical Verbs: Main verbs in sentences
Finite Verbs: Verbs that agree with the subjects in terms of number and person and also tense
Non-Finite: do not function as verbs in sentences
