MP60: gritty. SL200: pure sound
What happens when use a more gritty sound?
The sound of the grittiness of a sound will increase when your lower down the pitch/tune.

Gate Mode only allows the sound to play after the pad is touched.

Probability and Note Range do in Randomizer?
Probability: determines amount of notes that are going to be created inside of your pattern. Note Range: Defines the range where notes will be picked from Low to High Note
Auto Snap does what? (Slicing Mode)
Allows all slices.
Decet Mode does what? (Slicing Mode)
auto slices the samples.
Split Mode? (Slicing Mode)
defines # of slices equally slicing up
Grid Mode does what? (Slicing Mode)
Same as Split Mode but slices on note grid
How can you slice a sample? (Slicing Mode)
You can use the pads to slice IRL the waveform
What can you do with the Quick Edit Section?
Tune, Volume, Swing, Tempo, Position can all be used in this section.
What does Lock Snapshots do?
Locks the parameters you have on your project.
How can you save different locked snapshots?
Shift + “Lock” button. Choose an empty pad to save the locked snapshots?
What does the Mixer Button do?
Mixer displays of group & sound channels/overview.
On Mixer button, what does 4D Encoder do?
Down: to access induvial sounds channels in a single group. Left and Right: to see all other groups or top tracks. Pressing/Holding 4D Encoder access panning parameters.
How can you access panning parameters?
Mixer Mode. Pressing/Holding the 4D Encoder access the panning parameter on selected master, group, and sounds.
How can you add plug-ins?
“Browser/Plug In” & “Effect” category.
How can you move the location of a Plug-In in a Plug-In chain?
“Shift” + “4D Encoder” to move the location of the Plug-in in a chain?
How can you send Aux Sends on MK3?
- Choose any empty pad/sound
- Choose Plug-In you want to Aux Send
- Color Code It (Uncommon Color to recognize it)
- Select Group or Sound (Track)
- Switch to “Channel/Midi” button mode
- Top Button 5 & 6 to move it “output” page
- Switch Page 2
- Choose Aux’s Destination & Choose the empty track plug-in.
- Choose the input from Aux Sends

How to make scenes?
Create Scenes by putting them in groups and creating different scenes.
What does link do?
Link customizes different pads to play together when one is played.
How can you use link function?

Choke does what?
Customize different pads to never play together: the same process and link but choke menu instead
Humanizer does what?
Humanizer will move the notes back & forth; giving it a human touch. Randomizing Velocity Settings.
