- Truck Front Lights
Left Signal, Right Signal, 4-Way Flashers, Clearance Lights: Amber Color; Both Headlights: Hi & Low Beam:All Lights not cracked or fused, always clean, working good & securely mounted.
- Under the Truck
No Water, Oil, or Fuel leaking, No wires or hoses hanging.
- Windshield Washer Fluid Tank
Not Leaking, Fluid Level Full, Cap on tight, Securely mounted.
- Coolant Tank & Radiator
Not cracked or leaking, fluid level full, cap on tight, securely mounted.
- Water Pump
Belt driven, not cracked or leaking, all nuts are fully tight & securely mounted.
- Alternator
Belt driven, not cracked, broken, or damaged, working good, wires have no cuts, burns, or peels, all connections are tight, securely mounted.
- 3-Way Belt
Runs Alternator, Water Pump, & Fan. No Cuts or Frays, Belt has no play more than 3/4 inch.
- Air Compressor & Governor
Gear driven, not cracked or leaking, nuts are fully tight, securely mounted, air compressor hoses have no cracks or leaks & connections are fully tight.
- Oil Level Dipstick
Oil level full & cap on tight.
- Power Steering Fluid Box
Not cracked broken or leaking, fluid level full, cap on tight, clamp is tight, securely mounted.
- Power Steering Hoses
No cuts, bubbles, or leaks, connections are tight.
- Power Steering Gear Box
Gear driven, not cracked, broken, or leaking, no nuts or bolts missing, securely mounted.
- Power Steering Linkage Arm & Rod
Not cracked, bent, or broken, no illegal welding, joints always greasy, securely mounted.
- Pitman Arm
Not cracked, bent or broken, no illegal welds, Cotter Pin & Castle Nut not missing, securely mounted.
- Spring Mount & Shackle
Not cracked or broken, no illegal welding, no nuts and bolts missing, securely mounted.
- Leaf Springs
No missing, shifted, cracked, bent, or broken Leaf Springs. Not broken more than 1/4 inch, no gap between leaves, no illegal welding, securely mounted.
- U-Bolts & Spacer
Spacer not damaged or missing, U-Bolts not cracked, bent, or broken. U-Bolts fully tight, securely mounted.
- Shocks
Not cracked, damaged, or leaking, nuts & bolts fully tight & securely mounted.
- Brake Hoses
No cuts, cracks, or leaks, connections are fully tight, securely mounted.
- Brake Chamber
Not cracked, Bent, broken, or leaking, clamp is fully tight, securely mounted.
- Slack Adjustor & Pushrod
Not cracked or broken, no loose or missing parts/pins, Brake Pushrod has no play more than 1 inch, securely mounted.
- Brake Drum
Not cracked, bent, or broken, not oily, greasy, or overheated, securely mounted.
- Brake Linings
Not cracked, damaged or loose, not oily or greasy, thickness not less than 1/4 inch.
- Tires
Tread depth 4/32 inch, no cuts, bubbles or recaps, even wear, stem not missing or damaged, air pressure should be 100 PSI checked with air gauge.
- Rims
Not cracked, bent, or broken, no welding repairs, wheel is not loose and is secure with the tire.
- Lug Nuts
Not cracked, broken, loose or missing, all nuts fully tight, no rusty or shiny threads.
- Hub Oil Seal
Oil level is full, not cracked or leaking, all nuts fully tight, securely mounted.
- Green Electrical Wire, Blue Service Line, Red Emergency Line
Green Electrical Wire is not cracked, peeled, or burnt, both sides locked in.
Blue Service Line & Red Emergency Line: Connections are tight with Tractor side, not cut, cracked, or leaking, Glad Hands not cracked or leaking, always locked in place, all 3 lines always in hanging position, not touching the frame.
- Fifth Wheel Skid Plate
Check for lubrication, no missing pins or bolts, securely mounted.
- Release Arm
Easy lock, Easy unlock, always locked position.
- Fifth Wheel Platform & Mounting Bolts
Not cracked or broken, no illegal welding, no nuts or bolts missing, all nuts & bolts fully tight, no broken welds, securely mounted.
- Kingpin/Apron/Gap
Kingpin not bent, Apron not cracked or damaged, no gap between Apron and Skid Plate.
- Locking Jaws
Check Fifth Wheel Gap, should be fully closed around Kingpin.
