How does mariner suffering in terms of dead crew?
The dead soldiers “were at my feet”
“Cold sweat melted from their limbs”
Consumed by his crime : guilt form of punishment
He caused the death of crew so should realise what he created due to callous actions
Perpetual suffering / punishment / purgatory/ biblical reference
Can’t escape his crime
“The curse in a dead mans eye! Seven days seven nights I saw that curser and yet I could not die “
Movement of redemption for mariner / appreciates gods creatures
“O happy living things! No tongue their beauty might declare a spring of love gushed from my heart”
