What is a remedy?

Answer 1

A remedy is what the courts gives party who has suffered through non-performance of contract.

The main remedies are:
1. Common law remedy of damages
2. Equity remedies; injunction and specific performance
3. Statutory remedies; CRA 2015(any terms implied by statute are breached)

Additionally, injured party may be able to terminate the contract - repudiation.
