Why is it important to speak to sickness rather than asking God to heal the sick?
God has delegated His authority to us to heal the sick. The biblical model demonstrated in the gospel and Acts for walking in this authority is to declare healing over lives. (Acts 3:4)
Why is it important to have more faith in God’s power to protect us than Satan’s power to attack us?
Because those who believe they are protected will increasingly experience protection in their lives. (Matt 9:29)
Matt 5:42 says:
How are we to understand this passage?
“Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you.”
It must be understood in cooperation with other biblical truths and priorities like family responsibilities, paying off debts and other commitments.

How do we maintain a high level of intimacy with God?
The level of our intimacy with God is determined by our level of communication with Him.
We talked about 4 styles of confrontation. Please name them and tell me which one is the correct one.
Passive- “you matter. I don’t”
Aggressive- “I matter. You don’t”
Passive aggressive- “You matter…. Not!”
Assertive- “You matter and so do I” (This would be the correct way)

Explain the difference in your own words between humility and boldness? (See pg. 51 in Qualities of a Spiritual Warrior)
- To me, I see humility as thinking less about yourself but not in a demeaning way. I see humility as having a heart for others and not just yourself all the time, even in times of inconvenience. Humility looks like something, it’s an action not just a cool word. Boldness, on the other hand, to me looks like having confidence in that moment or instance to carry out what needs to carried out. Despite any fear, voice of doubt or feeling of shame that you fulfill what needs to be fulfilled.
