Theological virtues
Supernaturally infused good habits that depend on the grace of God to take affect
Virtue
Good habit of intellect or will enabling someone to do an action with ease
Hope
Gives assurance that salvation can be had through the merits of Jesus, with God being the object and the motive
Love
Self-sacrifice without expecting anything in return
Cardinal virtues
Enables one to control his moral conduct through grace of God and his own reason
Prudence
Foresight in practical matters
Justice
Giving to another that which is due to him
Fortitude
Enables one to do good even when suffering and effort are involved
Temperance
Controlling the drive for pleasures of the flesh
Sacrament
An outward sign instituted by Christ that gives inward grace
