- Dopamine replacement therapy: levodopa.
- Dopamine agonists: pergolide, apomorphine, etc. - Antagonizing excitatory cholinergic neurons (antimuscarinic agents).
The ultimate goal is to reestablish the correct dopamine/acetylcholine balance.
