Attitude- Cripple Germany so they would never invade
-Felt threatened/ public wanted heavy punishment/over two thirds of French soldiers killed
Aim-Hated Germany/Germany invaded twice in his lifetime/Realist/Compromised/Hard tough Politician
Treaty- P-Alsace-Lorraine returned/Colonies/Rhineland
-N-Germany not crippled enough
