A

A
- Alternative living arrangements for children whose parents are temporarily unable to care for them in their family home
- Caregivers are volunteers who are paid a fortnightly allowance to help meet needs of child

Step-parenting
A
- When a man or woman marries or forms a de facto relationship with a partner who has a child or children from a previous relationship, they become a step-parent

Surrogacy
A
- Arrangement btw a couple who cannot have a baby and a woman who gets pregnant on behalf of the couple
- Must adopt the child to be listed on the birth certificate as the child’s legal parent

A
A person who provides ongoing personal care, support & assistance to another individual who needs it

- Primary
- Formal & informal
