What 3 things does your Frontal Lobe control?
Your Frontal Lobe is your brain’s thinking cap. It controls problem-solving, decision-making, and impulse control.
What does your Parietal [sense] Lobe control?
The Parietal Lobe interprets info on where you are in space. Eg. the Size of the room, how many people are in the room, how much you need to turn to face someone, etc.
What does your Temporal [Hearing] Lobe control?
Your Temporal Lobe works with your amygdala & the hippocampus to form memories & emotions. This lobe is also used to process speech and sound.
What does your Occipital Lobe Control?
Your Occipital Lobe processes visual information and develops the vision. It also processes spatial reasoning [eg. size, shape, distance, recognition]
What does the Hypothalamus gland control?
The Hypothalamus regulates/manages body temperature, hunger, and thirst mood. It’s the body’s smart control and co-ordinating centre.
What does the Pituitary Gland control?

What does the Meninges Control?
The meninges are known as the protective layer. It covers and protects your brain and spinal cord.
What does the Thalamus Control?

What does the Pineal Gland control?
This gland controls circadian rhythm [sleep/wake], creates melatonin, and processes the difference between light and dark.
What does the Cerebrum do?
Perceives and processes Language. It also controls motor function and processes sensory information.
What 3 parts does the Cerebrum contain?
Thalamus, Hypothalamus, and Limbic system
What does the Midbrain do?
The Midbrain processes visual and auditory
What does the Hindbrain do?
The Hindbrain is the oldest part of the brain. It controls and balances breathing and heart rate.
How many hemispheres does the Cerebrum contain?
The Cerebrum contains 2 hemispheres. RT–>LT. LT—>RT.
What does the Cerebellum do?
The Cerebellum controls posture, co-ordinates and movement.
