Parallel Circuit Flashcards
1
Q
What happens if one bulb breaks
A
All bulbs in the other branches stay on
2
Q
What happens to the current
A
The current splits up when it comes to a branch. The current in all branches adds up to the current in the main part of the circuit
3
Q
What happens if you add more bulbs
A
They stay bright. It is easier for the current to flow with more branches, because there are more ways for the electrons to go
4
Q
What happens to the voltage
A
It stays the same across all branches of the circuit
