Quadrilateral
A quadrilateral whose opposite sides are parallel.
Paralellogram
A quadrilateral with only one pair of parallel sides.
Trapezoid
A special type of quadrilateral with only two pairs of congruent adjacent sides.
Kite
A quadrilateral with no parallel angles, and each of its adjacent sides are not congruent.
Trapezium
A quadrilateral with four right angles.
Rectangle
A quadrilateral with four congruent sides.
Rhombus
A quadrilateral with four congruent sides and four right angles.
Square
A quadrilateral with no right angles and whose adjacent sides are not congruent.
Rhomboid
a parallelogram must have two pairs of parallel opposite sides.
