Intraductal papilloma
2 types
RR of carcinoma
Small duct papilloma - in TDLU, usually mutiple, RR 3 fold
Large duct papilloma - centrally in lactiferous duct, usually solitary, RR 2 fold
Papilloma involved by DCIS
Criteria for ADH and DCIS
if low grade and </= 3 mm : ADH
if intermediate to high grade or >3 mm : DCIS
Encapsulated papillary carcinoma
Myoepithelial cells?
None present both in the periphery and in fronds
Solid papillary carcinoma
Classification
IhC
ER/PR, Her2
Solid papillary CIS - if WC
solid papillary carcinoma with invasion or invasive solid papillary carcinoma - if with infiltrating strands or ragged borders
Myoepithelial cells sparse but may be present
Can have neuroendocrine differentiation in 45% of cases (+) synapto, chromo
Almost all (+) ER/PR and (-) HER2
Invasive papillary carcinoma

Hormone status
Absent myoeps
