- Considered one of the holiest parts of the Tenakh, It was given by God to Moses
- The Torah is considered the exact words of God, so It’s highly valuable to Jews

- The Talmud helps Jewish individuals interpret the laws of modern judaism and interpret these teachings into MODERN ISSUES

- The Tenakh is a sacred text in Judaism and is often referred as the Hebrew Bible, interpreted as the laws by Jews

Sheol and Gehenna
A
Sheol: In Judaism, there is no specific reference to the afterlife, can be interpreted as a dark place where dead bodies are placed
Gehenna: Not the same as Sheol, seen as a place of waiting, may be where God judges Jewish indiviauls
